Who the heck are we, anyway?
You might be wondering, who the heck is behind Crecera.com.au and the Business Growth Network and why you should even take advice from us at all. Well, let us break it down for you. We're Jacquie and Sarah and we're the co-founders, primary school besties and industry experts (you can find out more about what we're pros at below.)
We're really excited to share with you the knowledge, business know-how and confidence we've gained over our 40+ combined years of experience and share it with people who need it most.... small business owners just like you!
I'm Jacquie Hannan!
I'm the owner and director of boutique finance and accounting firm, Hannans 360, and the proud co-founder of Crecera.com.au.
Starting off my finance career in bookkeeping, it didn't take long before I decided to create my very own firm in 2009, so I could have the freedom and flexibility to spend time with my growing family.
I'm now a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) and a highly respected and globally recognised expert in my field. Over the years I've assisted countless businesses with their finances, business structure, ongoing growth, and, of course, their tax and compliance too.
When I'm not crunching numbers and elbow deep in Xero, I'm a proud mum of three beautiful kids, and two fur babies.
I'm Sarah Duncan!
I began my career in journalism and worked for a variety of News Corp magazines and newspapers before moving overseas where my work featured in a variety of publications including largest women’s media brand, SheKnows, as well as Escape, Four Seasons Magazine, New York Magazine and others.
After returning home to Brisbane, I worked as a social media manager for a variety of brands including small start-ups and large multi-national corporations, including Expedia Group.
I've won industry awards, including the Social Media Institute Award for Best Corporate Social Media Team in 2019 for my work with Wotif, and have also created an award-winning travel blog. Beyond that, I love dancing, drinking tea and hanging out with my partner, Pej, and our dog, Pickles.
